In teresting read. There has recently been a large turn out of motorcyclists(FFMC) here in France (they know how to have a demo here)in relation to some of the euro propersitions for 'road safety' which are possibly being introduced eg,reflective vest and armbands, unmarked radar. More importantly the demonstration highlighted the promotion of better education of all road users and for euro government to actually listen to the views and experience of motocyclists and other two wheeler users.
I belive we all should be vigilant and make our voice heard before we end up strangulated by legislation laid down by people with no idea of the motorcyclists real needs in this day and age.
There is a downloadable manifest by the FFMC on their website (pdf) which is well worth looking at. although in French, it's not too hard to follow.
