I saw one of these at Newlands Corner a week ago, finish looked good and the owner (55ish) was very happy with it, he said it was a 250 and was with his son who was riding a 125 Raptor.

A week ago, Mike? Ah yes, of course; I guess it takes a while for the British fantastically engineered Greeves smoke to clear.

I was actually out on the even more fantasticly British engineered AJS Model 31,thought I'd give the Greeves a rest, it enjoys a quiet smoke in the garage at times.

I parked my 125 A.J.S. chinese the basic model-not a custom ,in a Cotswold car park on Sunday [a very Twee sort of place] and a 50 something bloke with small dog said had they started to make A.J.S.s again?-only in China, I replied! Never mind, he said, it is nice to see the old name back again!!

Why not rename the club - Classic AJS&Matchless Owners Club ? That might conceivably deter the "Chinky" AJS bikes/owners.

Yawn. How boring, how racist, how typical of your generation.

It was a daft idea I think it should be called
the English AMC Defence club.
