Just back from another very wet BSB meeting at Knockhill....yes the same one that we said we would never do again after last year! The circuit was ringed with 'bike parks with all the usual exotica,some guys must spend a fortune.....but by far the most ogled at exhibit and also the most surreal in the circumstances was a Model 30 with an old ratty "Watsonian" chair.My GSXr 1000 riding companion just couldn't get his head round this intrusion from a bye-gone age....it just looked so out of place.It did prompt a discussion about the 500cc 24hour record set in the fifties (I think) by a Velocette (can you say that here?!!)The young brigade were scurrying off home to "Google" it.Edited by - crawsue on 12 Aug 2008 3:44:19 PM Sorry,all meant to put this under the General topics heading.Edited by - crawsue on 12 Aug 2008 3:45:20 PM
