Resistance wire
Hi can anyone tell me more about the "resistance wire" on a Model 8 350 lightweight 1960? I have had to partially rewire the bike so far and don't want to cause issues.

Re: Resistance wire
The resistance wire was and is a very primitive way to dump excess electrical output to stop the battery boiling. Quite frankly you need to forget it and bring the electrics up to date. If you are sticking with 6v then the best option is the A Reg six available from Paul Goff.
