Headlight confusion
I advertised for a 7 inch reflector for the headlight on a 1949 WD G3L. After comments from people more informed than myself, I'm now more confused than ever: What year were 7 inch headlights introduced? If it should still have a 6.5 fitted, would that be a MU42 or DU42 please? Thanks in advance.

Hi,
The best I can come up with at the moment is the original part number from the parts list (1949).
Shown as 50788-A. My ‘47 has a 6.5” lens and is a different part number.
