Magneto sprockets. Should I oil the tapers?

Pretty much as subject. I'm replacing the magneto chain and sprockets on my 16M and before I fit the replacements should I lightly oil the tapers or should they be fully degreased and assembled dry?

Taper fit should be bone dry when attaching the sprocket.
