G5 parts

Post by olly2sheds »

Hi All,
I'm a new member and also new to owning old british bikes.
I have a G5 350cc Matchless and i need a few parts ,in particular a left hand side panel and a push rod.
Any help getting a hold of these parts be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,Brian

Hi Brian
Welcome to the club. Lightweights are great bikes. I have a g2 .
There is a section on the site for adverts where you can place a wanted ad for the parts you require somebody is bound to be able to help you out. Good luck

in addition to our own forum , join the AJS & MAtchless lightweight singles owners group facebook group
Both reach the widest audience and will help
Of course AJSMOC the club are also stocking and manufacturing an increasing number of parts for lightweights

Keep posting as other love to see whats going on

Welcome, Brian.
I'd add that the club has some pre-loved parts, and AMC Classic Spares who specialise in AMC bikes.
I expect you already look on the auction sites.

AMC Classic Spares website is in the link below. It's run by the very knowledgeable and helpful Steven Surbey so give him a call.

As a member you can place a wanted ad for free on the website and it goes automatically in the next magazine (we don't allow them in the open forum but you can use the special adverts section but it does not automatically go in the magazine).

Get it in before 5pm on the 14th March and it will go in the April mag.
