I am working on making the 1931 AJS of Wolverhampton files more user friendly. It is at the Hight of the 1930's' depression. AJS cash flow is nil. They have to use old stock old unused of parts. There are THREE editions of the 1931 parts list. I can start at the 2nd edition. The 2nd edition is the same as the first edition, except a few parts which are underlined. The final 3rd edition has many changes. nearly 100 pages, 15, 000 000 approx engine numbers. Probably to confuse German War Office, Matchless just dated all bikes 1941. Again to confuse German WD. Each model of AJS were allocated blocks of numbers, 100's never used to confuse. Yes, we will have problems knowing which edition of a parts list to use. Then along came the Copy Write act. So my Excel files must never be published for a few reasons. Use the club dating service.

Copyright only last for 70yrs after the death of the original creator of the work, so I think you're safe Rob. All the Archives have done is collate known publications which due to their first publication more than likely means the original creator has long gone.

Dating and club archives have had my Excel files since you were in office Roy. You had problems opening my pass word protection.
I have problems myself as one of my eyes has not had a large cataract removed, the other has.
I have a magnifying glass with 4 LEDs which are great if you have failing eyesight.

Looking side ways through my good eye is artic white, looking through the bad eye, a misty mustard colour.
In the middle double vision. It also has a lens for jewelry. Thank you for the 70 year copy write info Rob, I thought it was 50 years.
I found the files at Kettering had a lot of numbers deleted. Perhaps by someone that did not know how to use them? I do update the rally files every year. The second of my HP £400 A3 scanners will no longer auto feed. They did a lot of scanning all the Jampots. Rob H

I'm having feeder problems scanning with my 2nd HP 7612 printer. Only found one from USA, £500 + £500 P&P = £1,000.
Will have to keep looking. Only one from GB, it has a £589 bid. it Will not take a £600 bid. Have to keep looking.
