Engine sprocket spacer

Post by MalcW »

Hi, I'm rebuilding a 59 dynamo model 20, and have a question. According to the spares listing there are two possible spacers to go behind the engine sprocket. Part no. 023266 says 57 to 64, and part no. 023163 says 57 on. The first looks like a metal/rubber, and the second looks like it has an oil scroll. Which one should it have?

Cheers,

023163 is the one you require.

Excellent, many thanks. What's the other one for?

Hi Malc, 023266 is the engine sprocket do you have the number for the other spacer?

Edit, just found 023066 which is the spacer for a single engine, do you have the factory parts list?

Hi Duncan

Yes, I meant 023066 but made a typo...

The box of bits has a spacer which fits over the shaft and is pretty much the right size, but has a rubber seal round it. No idea what it is, and I can't see it listed. I was reasonably sure there was supposed to be an oil scroll there, but wanted to check.
