1929 M5
Bike is fitted with 19" rims and currently has :
Front 2.75x19
Rear 3.25x19
I don't want to change the wheels as they are in very very good condition but the front doesn't fill the mudguard enough - it's the lightweight sports mudguard (not valanced) so the gap it more noticeable. I am thinking of going up a size or two on the front and possibly on the back as 3.50 are much cheaper than 3.25
So my question is what have you fitted to an M series bike and I know there is plenty of space in the front but the rear tyre is quite close to the chain - be interested to know if anyone has a 3.50 front and rear.
All advice gratefully received, thanks.

Re: 1929 M5 Tyre advice
My M1 has had new rims on it, but if it helps the tyres are:
Rear - Mitas 350-19
Front - Mitas 350-19 (i.e the same).
I recently acquired the bike but with this rather odd combination, but it appears to steer and stop very well. Visually it matches the large front guard nicely too.
Cheers
John
