I recently bought a 2012 AJS Eco 2 in very good condition. However, having worked for the first few weeks of ownership, the indicators have now failed.
We’ve replaced the ticker relay, but when the indicator switch is pushed in either direction, the indicators don’t work. When the switch is pressed to cancel the signal, the ticker makes a clicking noise, but nothing happens. We’ve checked the handlebar switchgear, but to no avail. We suspect it might now be a bad earth somewhere, but thought we’d ask here first to see if anyone else had a similar issue and how they resolved it.
Any help and/or advice gratefully received.
Many thanks,
Cochen

Check for a bad earth. A lot of electrical problems are due to that.
