Unidentified parts

Post by RodneyK »

I turn again to my helpful friends.
I’m building my G9 from boxes of parts that include duplicates and parts from other bikes. This complicates the job. So far I have 3 copper washers, a cork gasket and two fibre washers that I don’t know what to do with. They are shown here with other parts for scale. Can anyone tell me what they are and where they go?

The cork gasket might be to seal the dynamo agianst the crankcase. I don't think the copper washers fit anything on a twin. The fibre washers might fit the oilpipe banjo fittings, depends on their size.

Good to know. I was worried I’d left out those copper washers somewhere. I haven’t quite got to the rest of it yet but will be sure to check the gaskets when I do.
