Have stripped and am now re-assembling the oil pump in my newly acquired G9 in an endeavour to at least minimise the notorious (in this case substantial) wet -sumping problem and just want to get it as right as I can. Any suggestions would be very welcome please? Also trying to ascertain where the (4) circular gaskets part no. 016138 are supposed to be fitted as the manual is vague on this point. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry, I just realized you mean the round paper washer. This fits on the centre stud behind the alloy pump plate to balance the other two gaskets. Usually only need one. Dave.

Thanks for that, what confused me was the Jampot "spares" photo that shows four paper wahers not just one!
