Front fork crown / yoke

For a 1952 Model 18S what is the difference between the 18S (018307) and 18CS (018308) fork Crown assembly. Also the parts books have different numbers for 1951, 1952 and 1953. Can they be interchanged?

I think the later comp bikes may have been fitted with the 48-50 ally fork crown. Different part numbers may be due to change from crown mounted to headlight mounted speedo. So long as the crowns are for 1 1/8 tubes they should work I don't think there was any difference in steering angles at that time but stand to be corrected by the more knowledgable!
