G2 engine oil

Hi everyone, new to the forum, a question I"m sure youv"e heard many times but which grade of engine oil is recommended for the G2 ?
Ive just bought a 1961 model and am going to service it etc.

Many opinions but you can't go wrong by following the recommendations in the Owners Manual, page 10 here:

Welcome to the club.
One point to be aware of is that the gearset in the G2 gearbox is located at the top so need to keep gearbox fully topped with oil up or else...

Many thanks for your help, Ive decided on straight 30 for the engine and straight 50 for the box..
