I was ref. to the crank in Spriddlers answer, it is now deleted. The crank on Ebay look like an early one, for the early crank you need the early type Center Web.

Thanks Poul....weirdly the eBay seller refuses to answer my questions ( I've tried FB and Email..it's a small restorer in USA) to measure the crankpins for me...turns out he offers 30 day returns, but won't answer any queries about anything......despite I have bought from him before!

Can the later centre web be used with this crank pictured? I think the one I have is 1955...could you be so kind as to outline the differences? Cheers

So looking at G9 Cranks, one I am being offered the drive and timing cheeks are fully round - others I am looking at claiming to be 53 -isg onwards, the timing and drive cheeks are "triangular" shaped. What does this mean?
