There's no oil filter on a 61 G3, just a strainer fitted in the delivery line. It's pushed up into the oil tank delivery tube but can work it's way down into the delivery line. To be honest it's such a coarse mesh it will only stop large particles and is unlikely to be anywhere near blocked - leave it alone if you can see a healthy oil return.
