Hi
I remember reading something a while back about replacement heavyweight Centre-Stands that are easy to use.
I can't find anything anywhere, but probably not looking in the right place.
Does anyone know if they are still available and if so how much and how could I order one
Cheers :?:

Or look in the services and trade section in the small ads in your Jampot. Good stuff (note to self this is a recommendation not an ad)

Would have been if I'd said it though! :o

Every time I think I've made the final batch they start to fly out the door again, might commission another lot.

Aging ownership, heavy bikes = likely continued demand.

Do I recall that you were looking into producing side stands at some point? Or am I just confused (again)?

Yes, found Rob Swifts details as suggested in Services and Trades section of Jampot.
Contacted him and rapidly got a very informative reply.
Both the bike and I have aged during lockdown and we both seem to have put on a bit of weight , so I thought a new stand would be easier than losing it.
Thanks for all the replies

I was looking at it but with everything turning upside down it's put on the back burner for the minute but will be looked at again.

Just for interest I bought a new stand from Rob Swift recently and if fitted and works perfectly, so at least I can move the bike about the shed without getting a hernia now. Just smoothed it off / rounded the edges slightly before getting it powder coated.
I don't know what the correct method of getting it back on is but I clamped the spring pressure on with bulldog clips in a vice before fitting it and undid them once it was in place as I couldn't get it on otherwise.
