Have you tried removing the return oil pipe from the oil tank and checking the return , I have heard of the return inside the tank getting blocked with some oil tank types (maybe the ones with filters in the tank)
Normally if the tank return blocks then there is enough pressure to blow the oil pipes off their connections !
