I got a little fed up of the B/W Version in the manual.

It is a work in progress but just so others get to enjoy it before I forget.

This was a great help for me, because the diagrams in the various manuals are copied so many generations away from the original factory drawings, that the text in them is very blurry and mostly illegible. Particularly useful for me was the very clear switch terminals connections, and the colours are very helpful too. I'd suggest that all owners should print out a copy and keep it in their bike toolbox in a polythene bag. The wiring is more or less identical for Lightweights too, I would surmise? (any comments?)

... Re: Spriddler fuse question; it may not be conventionally correct, and though I have followed this diagram more or less exactly, I have however physically inserted my inline fuse holder into the positive battery wire to the earth side connection terminal. I just found it much easier physically to do it that way.

Also it may be "heresy", but I used a mini blade type fuse holder, since those types of spare fuses are much easier to obtain these days at most garages etc., and in an emergency scenario, a rider could take a single strand of thin wire from somewhere, and poke it down into the spade terminal holes, replacing that with an actual mini blade fuse when convenient.

It doesn't much matter which wire it's fitted to as long as it's close the battery.
My inline glass fuse (with a spare taped to it) fits inside the battery box.
The battery is now exactly two weeks short of 17 yrs old and still going strong. (Magneto ignition  ).
I've put a wing nut on the Pos (frame) connection to enable quick disconnection if necessary.

Illustrator IIRC. I made the new loom to the same colours as the old so the next edjit that has to work on this won't be swearing at the use of all-black wire.

First attempt at the wiring,

Sod it I will make my own loom,

Fitting it to the bike,
