Crash bar,-where??

I have been trying to find a crash bar for my G80 1957
I know that the club stores a straight horizontal "pin". But what I want is one as the one I remember from the sixties: A loop shaped tube in front of the cylinder. Like in page 210 (Roy Bacon Restoration)
Can anybody help me. It would make my bike perfect for the international in two weeks.

Does anyone remember the rear bars that were bolted to the top of your rear damper and then the foot rest,made by Britax I think and bought from Halfords,thought I was Jack the lad with front and rear crash bars.[8D][8D]

I have just put a pair of the rear crashbars on ebay. they are britax complete with the footrest kit. have a look (search under britax) and let your mind take you back in time stuart!
