araldite
Sodium Hydroxide in Ethanol is what you want Ken, no. I'm not donning Stink's mantle, I just looked on Google. Type 'Removing Araldite', and there is any number of magic potions. Is your keyboard missing the capital 'I'?

IIIIII``s got the I but I`m feeling stiff in the joints today, besides I`ve got into the habit of keeping the caps lock button in a box with the esc button...that way I lose less stuff, these things don`t work too well if you`ve got cobblers thumbs[:D]

Hi Ken,
Just a thought make sure the substrate will not be harmed by the potion,my daughter lives near Bath so if you give me a formulation I could make some in the lab. but if hazardous could not post it to you. However,Karen is visiting in the next couple of weeks she could collect and if you could do the same at tother end all would be well.Just a thought
Cheers

araldite
Hi Ken
Rather than use hazardous chemicals it can be removed easily by heat. I use a lot of araldite at work and properly mixed it is very strong. Heat it up though, with a hot air gun or similar, and it goes lovely and soft and peels away. of course you have to make sure what you are removing it from won't be damaged by the heat[:)]
