New Blog
Gents,
I have created a BLOG to show some photos and hopefully in the future information regarding the Kent section of the AJSA & Matchless owners club.
It can be found here:
https://www.tumblr.com/blog/chrisspicersblog
Please let me know what you think and any suggestions for expansion will be welcome.

Re: New Blog
Chris appears as a blocked guest, so I guess has no connection with the club or section.

Re: New Blog
Chis has a different username on the forum to that on the membership system therefore the two do not tie up.G15 Roy wrote:Chris is a fully paid up member. I guess Eamonn needs to look at this.
I'll contact Chris by email to get them amalgamated.

Re: New Blog
In reply to Alan Engineer's remark, I have tried to post photographs on the Forum in the past but due to modern day digital photography the pictures are "too large" to be accepted. Hence the Blog.

Re: New Blog
With modern day digital technology photos can be resized in seconds, Chris. It saves opening a post containing a photo and the bike having one wheel on the pot and the other up the chimney.............chris1947 wrote:........due to modern day digital photography the pictures are "too large" to be accepted.
......with a "Hey! Nonny nonny-nonny nonny ..........." etc., as we say in Sussex.

Re: New Blog
Found a new super quick way to resize the odd photo that is also very very easy. Right click on the photo then select "Send To" (about a 1/3rd the way up) and then "Email Recipient" (in the middle). This attached the image to a new email, but before it does it gives you the option to resize the picture. Pick the smallest size on the list ("Smaller: 640 x 480") and say ok. A new email opens with the resized picture attached. Just right click on the picture and select 'save as' then its ready to attach to the forum. Sounds long-winded but in practice takes a few seconds, faster than opening the image in another program to resize it. The "smallest" size is perfect for uploading to the forum.

Re: New Blog
Hi Chris,
I clicked on the link for the blog but it asks for a username and password.
Would I have to register to take a look?
Regards
John

Re: New Blog
I got the same John, and I'm not prepared to sign up for all the photo achieving websites, getting all their advertising and unwanted stuff.Johnobirches wrote:Hi Chris,

So if I get a pic that refers me elsewhere, I don't go there.
