I used to have a picture of one, I think it was a police bike. But I cannot find it for looking. I will keep looking but have almost run out of hidey holes for it. Ian

hi ian, after filling several dents and rubbing down and priming, i found another 7 tiny dents, which of course need filling etc. hopefully with a couple of coats of primer, this time i won't find any more.

Hi bb , sorry for the late reply , the tank you have is the early 2.75 gallon type , used on the '59-60 models - and scramblers . The rear tank mount used an ordinary bolt / washers , not the 'T' fixing - that was introduced with the commoner '60 onwards 3.25 gal tank . this is why early frames are threaded ( there are three types of front bracket too )Edited by - T on 03 Jun 2012 09:57:03 AM
