Its called paying attention Stuart, I like to read items that interest me thoroughly, that is, the ones that are well written and lacking in spelling mistakes.

Maybe that`s why when I look at a modern bike I just don`t see a bike.
Seems to me all the memories todays riders will have in their dotage will be of never ending expense .
I`ll settle for the memories of good times with of thirty bob bikes.
I still have not recovered from the shock of learning that modern bike frames [chassis?] bend when they fall off the prop stand, which is apparently the only thing supplied to hold them up.

Is that why we don't see superbikes with double adult sidecars?

Didn't Nevilles frame bend when he dropped it?, or possibly straightened it.

But to cheer you up on a window cleaning theme, Asda have had so many enquiries for the 'George Formby Lean Machine Grill' that they are renaming their own brand one to that! Don't think Lucky George ever won the world boxing championship [:D]

Ok, who's brave(?) enough to go into a modern bike showroom and ask for a set of sidecar mounts for the latest whizzy plastic rocket [:D]

Be interesting to hear the response......

response= huh?
The last one I went into for small item, forget what, I was on my WD G3L, pulled it onto its stand, bored yooff at the door looked out and said "don`t do bits for that `ere mate"
Shoved it off stand again, said "Thank you for that my man, for spares I go to a motor cycle shop, not an Addis palace"
Alas I fear the subtle wit was lost on him.
