Hi Janet, are you getting your Lightweight or the LE ready for next year's Off Road Challenge event (commonly called The Westwood Ho!),
it's said that the start will be differant to the usual place so breaking new ground.

Mike, I'm aiming to have the lightweight ready because the Westward Ho! on the LE wouldn't be much of a challenge. Having fallen off on the left last year, and on the right this year, I intend to to a huge wheelie and come off the back next year. Or, better still, not fall off at all. I'm not so worried about breaking ground, new or old, it's me that I don't want to break and I'd like to finish without something going wriong with the bike, too.
If I don't get round without serious incident this time, I'll not be trying again. Three failures would surely be enough for anyone.

29 inside leg !
Is the Ho! on again this year? I missed the (non-Newbury) run last year so hoped I'd be able to do it on my Model 8 this year. By the way, I'm 6ft 8 ins tall and feel very comfortable on the Lightweight, though some wags at the Alternative Rally did call me a sadist for subjecting it to a 250-mile run complete with artuculated-lorry-sized top box.
I have a 33-inch inside leg and size 15 feet.
