G15CSR Swing Arm Pivot Pin Removal Tool

I discovered that an old beaten-up front axle from an Atlas RoadHolder fork assembly

actually works quite effectively as a drift for getting a stuck steel pivot pin out of the rear swing arm without destroying the pin or the bushings

One must loosen the cotter nut first of course

I see you decided to knock that thing out of there. I used a 1" brass drift turned down a bit on the lathe. I have a spare set of felt swing arm seals if you would like them.

I have found a 1/2" threaded drawbar with appropriate sized spacers easier (and gentler!)

I was able to secure new felt seals..but thank you for the offer Draco

I did not run up against any excessive resistance in driving the pin out with the axle

if it had turned into a contest...I probably would have revised my choice of weaponry...oh who am I kidding,

I would have beaten the thing to a fare-thee-well
