Yep ... aluminium bronze.
Very durable, provided you use unleaded.
Used to have them in my old 1951 Ariel Square Four MKI.

Im glad someone mentioned valve seats because mine are brass,--well one is but I cant remember which it is. Ive never ever seen brass seats before,--could be bronze,-- is this normal for British stuff?
