1960 Matchless G9 - Ammeter

Went on V--C run today, there was about forty bikes, AJS, Matchless, Norton, BSA and Enfield, I did a quick survey and the 12-0-12's outnumbered the 8-0-8's by two to one, with three ammeters not having any numbers at all.

by the time the vibration has made your eyeballs wobble, and the needle swings wildly from side to side, whilst you are looking out for murderous car drivers, it'l become irrelevant.
As long as it goes to plus when you rev it, be happy
