Folks,
I was approaching the headlight wiring, but I have a doubt.
What is the best setup to guarantee in the headlight the body continuity?
(I have 6v, positive earth)

Re: Headlight wiring
Separate earth wire from headlamp shell (there is socket to push a lucas brass connector in) to main earth point on rear frame 1/2 in bolt. While you're at it, run separate wires to rear lights, engine (I use screw that holds valve lifter spring in place), indicators if fitted. Poor earth is main cause of electric problems. Andy

Re: Headlight wiring
Andy,
After some metering, I choose for simplicity to take the earth/body to the headlight from the grease nipple near the headlight.
This one: For rear lamp I took it from the middle of the body.
I will keep informed on my experiments (and results)...
Thanks. I approach a mix of your hints.

Re: Headlight wiring
Best practice is to use a common earth/ground point and take all earth wires back to that single point as in theory there could be a potential difference between multiple earths. It is also good practice to go back to bare metal for any earth/ground point even to the point of running a tap through any threaded holes.

Yes, you want a bolt on the frame with bare metal and all the earths going to that. Get some 1/3" or 5/16" eye connectors and put the battery to the same bolt. It really makes a big difference and you can Vaseline over it to stop it corroding.

I usually put some Vaseline over the battery terminals.
