Summary of a recent email communication with a Digita 50 owner which may be of use.....

I have flashing mil light flashing 5 times , moped seams to run and start fine but must have a problem


My Response:
According to the AJS website ( at https://www.ajs-shop.co.uk/acatalog/Digita-50.html ) a flashing MIL indicates a problem. I would guess the number of flashes indicate what the problem is, but I cannot find anything on the internet that gives any more detail. I suspect you will have to consult an AJS service centre to have it checked.
There are reports of some owners getting a flashing MIL when they try to go too fast - i.e. beyond the legal limits of a 50cc scooter. It could be that the higher revs triggers the MIL to flash. However without any information on what the flashing actually means it's difficult to advise.
So the best option is to contact an AJS dealer and get their advice on what you should do.
