July 3rd-regular clubnight aka noggin and natter. 7.30pm onwards at the Rising Sun, Shackerstone.

July 5th-7th-we are manning and womanning the club stand at the Mallory Bike Bonanza, Mallory park race circuit, Leicestershire.

July 17th-regular clubnight at the Rising Sun, Shackerstone.

Plenty more to follow this year! The section is lively and very active-despite the lack of announcements on here!
Come along and find out what we get up to, many events and runs are spontaneous and set up at short notice (especially if left to me) and club nights are the way to find out about them. The roads leading to Shackerstone are very pleasant riding and the pub is a great one too!

Next club-night is July 31st at the Rising Sun, Shackerstone. Last chance before the Jampot Rally which a couple of us will be attending. You could also hear about the section Garden Party that you will have just missed! Our stand at the Mallory Park Bike Bonanza went down well with the public and also the other exhibitors and riders. £312 in raffle tickets sold which considering the rather low turn out of spectators was quite a decent result! Another busy section meeting last night with a bumper attendance and lots of bikes of all sorts-this venue really is popular and worth a visit. Pop along and see us!

Wednesday 25th September is our next clubnight at the Rising Sun, Shackerstone. Come on down!
Lack of recent updates is due to me going to the Isle of Man and staying for almost a month.

Well, I'm sorry but you've missed the excellent quiz set last night by Mick Brelsford but you can still join in with our Halloween run on Friday 1st November. Don't argue about the date it has to be then for 'operational reasons'. Meet 7.30 pm at the Rising Sun Inn, Shackerstone for a shortish run returning to same pub. Yes it will be dark and yes you need lights. Halloween costumes optional, most of us qualify all year round.
Also, notice of our annual Remembrance Sunday Run. 10th November, meet at the Copt Oak Inn, LE679QB at 09.30 hrs for a prompt 10.00 hrs getaway. Again this start point has been revised for 'operational reasons' and it is only a mile away from the last year start. Another short run to get us to our traditional village memorial location at Thrussington in time to join in the service.

Next clubnight and event is 20th November at the Rising Sun, Shackerstone. It's the popular 'Images Night', where we get to see pictures and video from section members that record their activities from this year to way back when we were young. All welcome-but expect standing room only if you arrive after 7.30 pm!
