North East Section Club Night - this Thursday the 7th November

Just a quick note to remind you our penultimate club night of the year is THIS THURSDAY the 7th November from 7pm at the Robin Hood; I’ll be there from around 6:30pm.

Our December meeting is our Christmas meal on the 12th December, so there is no meeting on the 2nd of December.

Evenin’ all

We had a most enjoyable meeting last night, with some 15 members joining us; it was good to see some new members too. Hisanori Nagata from Japan, is currently in the UK but is returning home in Spring next year. He bought a 1957 Matchless G11 through a family friend. There are still a few issues with it which we'll help him with...at least getting it started and running. He says there are almost no AJS or Matchless bikes in Japan...until now.

DECEMBER: Our next meeting is our Christmas meal on December the 12th at 7pm; it looks like there may be 20 of us for the meal.

JANUARY: The January meeting has been moved to the SECOND Thursday, the 9th. This is mainly to allow those who had an indulgent new year to recover.

Discussions continue regarding suitable routes and venues for the rally ride outs next year; I’ll send an e-mail out updating you on where we are presently.

Dave, our photographer this month, is making good progress with his ‘big lass’ – a G12, just to be clear. Geordie is making headway with his sidecar outfit and Peter is dealing with clutch problems on his twin.
