Hi,
Having just completed the recommissioning of my AJS 16MS, that I bought from Mathewsons back in June as a non-runner, I'm really keen to ride it as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, I'm currently just a Learner on a 125, and for the AJS, I assume I'll need at least an A2 licence to be legal on the road.
Can anyone confirm that there is no way around this, such as a limited licence for a historic bike ridden only in daylight etc??
Also, does anyone know of a location where it might be possible to ride it on "private land" in or near Hampshire, assuming that I could get it there on a trailer or in the back of a van? An airfield perhaps??
Many thanks.
Riding without a licence????

Re: Riding without a licence????
Your best bet is to get your test done and then you can ride it on an a2 licence wherever you want. I understand the desire to get out as soon as possible but it's always worth doing it properly. If your 16ms is anything like mine then the noise will put off a lot of private landowners.
