I have replaced the springs on the clutch pressure plates by new ones. Can anyone help me with the correct method to adjust the spring nuts?
I have read Somewhere the spring stud should meet just about the surface of the nut. Is this the correct starting point ?
Best Regards

Have a look at the manual in the Archives under Club on the main website, I seem to remember it's screw full in then back off 4 or 5 turns, but double check. However, the end of the stud level with screw isn't far out. Andy

It is also necessary to check that the pressure plate is lifting evenly. I've tended to do this by eye but next time will probably fix up a guide wire to help. getting this right is important to getting smooth clutch operation and may result in some springs nuts being tighter and others less so.
