1924 AJS

Post by Scoutgreg »

Hi there.
I am new to this and not sure if I am in the right place for early AJ’s.
I have had this AJS for many years and it’s about time to begin the restoration of it.
From what I can gather, it is about 1924 and either a B1 or B5. Handlebars seem to be semi TT.
Frame and engine number is 38856.
It is missing a few parts with the most difficult being the wheels. Does anyone know of any after market hubs being made? I haven’t come across any originals in my search around here (Australia).
Greg.

I have 1924 AJS B1, you need beaded edge wheels and don't forget the tyres MUST be pumped up very high.
