1959 ajs350
My front brake back plate retaining nut is siezed on to the brake plate. ( it's been stood for a long time) can anyone confirm it's normal thread and not left handed ? Be for I go to war with it ?

Right hand thread. Can you clamp the wheel spindle, put the brake on and turn the wheel?

Penetrating oil and patience. The seizure may be nut to shaft or nut to brake plate but most likely both, so flood both. A bit of heat then cooling may help break the seal.
