Hi folks.
Just a little reminder that our March club night is on Thursday this week, the 7th of March, at 7pm in the Robin Hood Inn.
If you haven't been before, why not drop in?
See you there...Simon.

Re: North East Section Club Night on Thursday the 7th March
We met as usual at the Robin Hood Inn on the 7th March, with only three apologies, one from Myles in Cyprus. A somewhat drier and warmer location than Northumberland this week. There are definitely signs of spring and warmer weather now, but then we get a cold snap as if it was a false alarm.
Several projects are on the go now, one of which is Sean’s 350 lightweight. He was quite delighted when our western contingent presented him with a box of spares, complete with some tinware. I believe Sean is going to build the bike as a bit of a green laner. We have discussed another film night and both Dave and Simon (there are two of us) are going to see what they can find in the way of older films and shorts. The greatest entertainment last time was people falling off, so hopefully they can find more footage of that.
Ian and Julie brought along a couple of mementos of their participation in the Jumbo Run back in 1987. They also had a film of the event which we didn’t have time to show, but it was well attended by three wheeled cars, trikes and motorcycles with sidecars. The Jumbo Run is run by Jumbo GB, a voluntary motorcycle organisation, working for children with disabilities and special needs. If you’re interested, you can find out more on their website at http://jumbogb.org.uk
Our next meeting is on the 4th of April from 7pm at the Robin Hood Inn.
