1950? Rear wheel

Post by Tazmantic »

Hi guys been a while as I've been trying to source more parts for my project and I've done a lot of searching on here and google but I'm getting myself a bit confused.

So I picked up a rear wheel with sprocket and bearings but no spindle, spacers or brake plate on inspection I found it has bearings that are not part of the hollow tube (each side is separate as shown in the 1950 parts list) are these just for the sprung back end or were they also fitted to the 1950 rigid? (I think the rear frame is 1950 after doing some research as both forks have the same gap 3/4", is that correct?) also these bearings take a 5/8" spindle but I thought I read somewhere the rigid should be 1/2" :? any help would be greatly appreciated and also is there an exploded diagram of all the spacers etc anywhere.

Cheers
