Our monthly club night is fast approaching…it’s this Thursday, the 6th July from 7pm at the Robin Hood Inn as usual.

Back on the road after a complete engine rebuild but only 6 miles for fuel so far, need to get some local miles in before a jaunt to Northumberland!

There was a good turnout for our July meeting at the Robin Hood. Several bike projects are nearing completion and should be ready for the road before the end of July.

One member brought along a heavily oxidised and very large acetylene brass lamp for investigation. It really is quite a beast and I’m convinced Sean fancied it for the front of his AJS. We did find a nicely polished twin of this Brevetto 55111 lamp online, but it has since vanished.

By the time you read this, it will be August…which members of the North East section would be interested in a ride out and meet up?

Our next meeting is on Thursday the 3rd August from 7pm at the Robin Hood.
