Another great day..... Knee out bends to the Slovenian technical museum followed by a traditional Slovenian lunch. Waddled across to the bikes for another knee out return. Wonderful!

To cap it all a lovely social evening with the local crew at the rally site...

Final day of the rally and another bends r us ride out to a hilltop location for a traditional Slovenian lunch and thence a drop into a motorcycle museum on the way back. A bit of a social back at the rally site where our president gave a short speech thanking the organisers for their efforts. Fettling completed back at the hotel and thoughts now to the journey home. All in all a great weekend.

We're on our way home. Lovely ride through the Dolomites, thence the Brenner pass to our overnight stop at Mutters near Insbruck, Austria. Had a bit of a stop to sort out Steve C's bike, one of the straps from his bum comforter had found its way into the carb inlet causing the bike to run rich 😮.....

Woke up to a view of the Alps from my bedroom window. Lovely ride today on nice roads with fantastic views of the Alps as we headed out of Insbruck towards Germany. Made good time and no hiccups on the way. The hotel is nice with an Italian restaurant just across the road where we had a nice meal. Graham was joined by his nephew and wife who live locally.

Circa 230 grueling saddle sore miles to tonight's stopover in Luxembourg. Nice views seen as we transited a couple of national parks. A bit of fettling needed on the way to sort out Steve B's slipping clutch. Hotel restaurant a bit expensive so decided to look elsewhere and ended up having a curry. Very nice it was too! Into France tomorrow for our last stopover....

That's it then, just about all done and dusted. Last stopover tonight in France before heading for the tunnel in the morning. Relatively easy ride today, Steve C took the lead so I had a day off. Severance pay negotiations are ongoing plus overtime when I took over the lead to get us to the hotel!😜 Good job done by Steve though. Nice hotel and a private dining room set aside for us, maybe to keep us away from the other clientele 😂....A little bit of maintenance needed in the hotel car park in readiness for the final leg. Circa 2,200 miles thus far on these old bikes so not bad 😁

Mission accomplished......

Short trip to the tunnel yesterday, not entirely uneventful with two stops needed to tweak Steve C's and Dave W's clutches. It meant a later train than originally booked but only by 16 minutes so no great shakes. The group then split going their various ways. I made it home at 4:30pm, the A27 was busy and a pain, should have headed across country. A great trip with many memories made. A big thanks to Dudley for back up and luggage transport, it made the trip so much easier.

The old girl did well with circa 2,300 miles covered and no real issues. Next task will be a partial strip down and a good clean.
