Timing chest cover

Post by Seven13 »

Canada calling with an obscure question on timing chest cover sealing on a '60 G12. I can't find a timing chest gasket in the parts list, is one used? If not is what is the best way to seal?

There isn't one. I had exactly the same question when I first got my bike. I use Wellseal on mine, which has worked well.

Very odd, along with the very special and expensive timing chest screws! Thanks for the reply, Wellseal it is.
