I have one forward mounted on one bike rear mounted on another. Both worked fine but after a while the forward facing one failed. Too much riding in the rain. Its been replaced by a waterproof toggle switch ( merely an integral rubber cover) which has been fine. No problem with the rear facing one. My batteries are AGM contained in a fake lucas box but there is clearance for the switch above them.
