We had a visit today from an old friend of Bill Redford, Mike Lewis. He was unaware until quite recently that Bill had in fact passed away.
We were able to give him a copy of the Jampot mag that contained Bill's obituary as we had been given a few for that purpose. Whilst looking through the mag Mike referred to the Basil Chilvers article and the list of award winners. Mike won the award in 1990 and pointed out that he was in fact a Poachers section member. It was suggested he should rejoin the club and he is hoping he can attend the Jampot and Alternative rallies this year.
