Hello all.
Might seem simple , but I wasn't supplied with the threaded rear chain wheel adjusters. Taking the brake/chain side, does the threaded adjuster butt up against the dummy spindle nut, the rounded section, or washer? I have a washer with a flat section as per photo... just interested, because if it's butted against the nut, will it not deflect the adjuster as you tighten the nut?
Zoom in on the adjuster on the bike...

Re: Chain/Wheel Adjuster
The chain adjuster should butt up against the rounded section of the dummy spindle nut. 1963 spindle spacers are slightly different to the earlier ones due to using the interim hubs.

Re: Chain/Wheel Adjuster
Thanks Reynard24, but when you tighten the dummy nut will it not deflect/bend the adjuster?

Re: Chain/Wheel Adjuster
No, not on the rounded section - it’s no different to the rounded end of the spindle on the other side. The adjusters should have a sleeve nut to lock them in position.
