Leaking generator to crankcase seal

Can anyone suggest a fix for the problem of oil weeping from the generator/ crankcase seal on a 1953 G9? I used the original cork seal and a coating of silicon, which was an improvement but not a cure. I think the problem is the thoughtful placing of the crankcase side fixing bolt so that it breaks the cork seal. It's not too bad, I can live with it, but I thought somebody may solution.

Quite a common annoyance. Several posts if you use the 'Search' facility. Search using the format Dynamo+leak By using the + symbol you'll only get posts that include dynamo and leak

Thanks for the link Spriddler. Very informative. Seems like a problem with no easy answers, although my dynamo leak may not be as bad as I thought -
the oil pipe banjo nuts needed tightening.
