Hi
I'm about to fit the exhausts to my G15 CSR, (once the dedicated 'C' spanner arrives). I have new crush washers but am wondering if the threads need to be either sealed or lubricated. I'm aware that the nuts have a reputation for loosening on commandos, is this also true on the Atlas?
What product(s) do other owners use when installing the nuts?
Lubrication to ease future removal?
Sealant to prevent leaks / loss of torque?
Regards Mick

The answer is yes , same as commando usually when you are miles from home , certainly has on my P11 before i fitted the tab washer .
Try fitting the tab washer 062412 when you assemble exhausts with new sealing rings 063995
NO sealant , but perhaps copper slip on thread
example shown , but available from elsewhere as well

Re: Exhaust Nut Security
Thank You Peter
Those washers look just the job, I didn't realise they were available, (AN don't list them under the Atlas ).
Wish I'd asked the question before I ordered the exhaust nut spanner, I could have saved myself some postage
Washers and Never Seez it is then
