Some months ago I removed the battery, as the leads are not marked . Is it pos or neg earth

My method, as you can never tell what a previous owner has done, would be to connect the battery any terminal earthed. Turn on the headlight. If the ammeter shows discharge all is good. If it shows charge then its the wrong earth. Reverse them and run the engine if the dynamo is charging all is good. If not you will have to flash over the field. You have a 50:50 chance of being right and plenty of time to sort it out if wrong!

Thanks for your reply yes I have a manual for bike , but when I see it is a neg earth I wanted to check as my G9 is a
