Tyres
I need to renew the front and rear tyres on my 1957 18s.At present it is fitted with Avons but only doing less than 700 miles in the summer and then only pottering around at 50mph max are there any decent cheaper alternatives around?

hello i have fitted 90/90 19 road rider front and 100/90/19 rear and it handles superb, yes there are cheaper alternatives but your life depends on good stickey tyres on wet greasy roads and costs are not always paramount

I have Mitas tyres fitted to my 600 twin got 4000 miles out of the rear before it needed changing. Have always given good grip wet or dry, in fact saved me a couple of times when I have got a bit carried away.
