Get yourselves over to www.realclassic.co.uk where the message board is usually quite active. Janet used to be a frequent visitor, but has been absent recently.

On this occasion you'd win your bet.
I'd never heard of Gertrude until I read the folowing limerick and wanted to know who she was.

There was a strange family named Stein,
There's Gertrude , there's Ep and there's Ein.
Gert's prose is the bunk,
Ep's sculpture is junk,
And no-one can understand Ein.

Janet has been to a health farm, loosening up so she can bend down to operate her Vespa starting handle,[}:)]

Cruel, Alan. I can't help the ravages of time which prevent me bending double these days.

Michael, we ventured outside the safe haven of Yorkshire and went touring Wales, me on the Honda and Glyn on the B31. I returned with all the Honda plus a few BSA bits which I picked up while following behind. To be fair to it, it did 1200 miles with nothing that couldn't be fixed at the roadside.

Crikey Janet your but a youngster - can't bend down?. Heres a thought, why not increase your tickover RPM just for this particular discipline, you won't then have to operate the throttle with your left hand and have to contort so much.
